Concepts for FPS

FPS Ideas

1. Each character will have a defining feature of battle. Power, Speed, Defense. Each of the 3 are broken down into physical, magical, or mixed. We'll be set up in a kind of dystopia, the gameplay will be co-op. Thinking of Dragon's Dogma in terms of some of the co-op moves. Speedsters+Tanks= Mobile defense force kinda thing. Speedster+Glass Cannon=Hunter. Most of the characters will be set into one of the 3 main battle features, relying on the other classes to be complete. Powerful classes  don't have too much health or high enough mobility. Speedsters can dodge just about anything but do no damage. Tanks are generally slow moving and don't do fantastic damage. Considering Tanks having splash damage. Power classes might fall as sweeper. A constructed arena for the infected. The infected are people gifted with powers but cursed with a shorter existence. To keep themselves alive they must fight people in succession. The arena was created for these individuals to fight in, often putting them in large groups to fight one another. The arena is engineered to keep the fighters alive and to revert their bodies back to their previous state after diving. The infection needs to person to feel as if they are in fight or flight mode at least once a day.
Characters: Base roles of the classes. Glass Cannon, Tank, Speedster


2. Mages VS Cyborgs

Read the title

Two seperate timelines collide. One in which humanity embraced magic practices and another where technology became the key to success. The mages opened a portal only to find their other timeline, often filled with similar people. The leaders of these worlds couldn't agree on which of the methods were better. Ok i just wanna see cyborgs fight mages....i don't need a reason

3. Steam Shooter 1835

The steam is not a weapon. It is a tool. You're a factory worker in Victorian England (where things get steamy). The machines here run off of steam that's injected by a special tool. The steam gun, the steam gun fires off a large burst of steam meant to power machines. Strange occurences have happened around the workplace recently though. A gang  has infiltrated the shop, armed with your steam gun you must escape the factory. The gun can mask your visual presence or even be used as a booster over large jumps. It won't kill but it will stun. Different nozzles originally intended for different machines can serve different purposes. Don't forget machine interaction

4. Displacement Shooter
Kinda like portal but with a gun that switches your place with whatever you've shot. There must be an object hit though. You find yourself in an awful spot. Waking up in jail with only hints about your past. In your pocket you find a bracelet that covers your arm. This bracelet turns into the displacement gun. Taking the off chance that it might be a real gun you try to shoot a particularly abusive guard with it, only to find that you've switched places. The jail itself is quite high tech so you find yourself attempting to escape in any way possible. Characters: Guard bots (General), Main Character, Warden


5. Dream Shot

Use Dreams to gain different effects. Dreams are often used as support items of ten times giving the player buffs and and other sorts of regenerative properties. Often affecting the mental space of the character. Changing the hud to darker colors and causing slight hallucination. The story here is that you've woken up in  a dream state caused by a kind of coma. To escape you must journey to the end of multiple scenarios in your mind. starting with your earliest memories. You'll have a guide in the back of your mind something cute. Your favorite stuffed toy.  The main villain here will be a resemblance of an accident. A trauma that destroyed your mind. The nightmare is your parents accident. An evil imitation of a car crash. Later circumstances will show the parents or opposing driver drunk.
